Yes, you must accept the certificate in order to use IRIS. At this time, the certificate is created per user, not per machine. Therefore, if you log in with a new user, you will be asked to accept the certificate when running IRIS for the first time.

Please note that this will only happen the first time that you log in with a new user. You will not be asked to accept a certificate upon future logins.
